Submit a Ticket
Power On the System
Touch the iPad screen
to power on the control system.
Select a Display and Source
Tap a
display
(e.g., EpsonBrightLink & Audio (front projector), 86" Display (side TV), 65" Display (rear TV)) on the iPad.
Choose a
source
to show on the selected display.
Optional:
Tap
Send Source to All Displays
to display the same source on all screens.
Source Options:
No Source:
Clears the display (nothing will be shown).
AirServer:
Allows wireless connection for sharing content.
If your computer is a Windows PC,
Press the Windows key and K at the same time.
Select the room in the Cast pop-up (e.g., Plaster 201)
If your computer is an
NGU-issued
Mac,
Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar (top right corner).
Click
Screen Mirroring
and select the room (e.g., Plaster 201).
If your computer is a
personal
Mac,
Connect to the Guest WiFi shown on the AirServer (the WiFi name and password is under the Guest Network section on the AirServer).
Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar (top right corner).
Click
Screen Mirroring
and select the room (e.g., Plaster 201).
Yealink:
Opens the Microsoft Teams interface.
HDMI Wall Plate:
Displays content from a device connected via HDMI.
Connect to the HDMI port on the podium with your computer and an HDMI cable.
Set desired display settings (mirrored or extended) in Settings > Displays (Windows) or System Settings > Displays (Mac).
Adjust Volume
Use the
Program Volume
buttons on the right side of the iPad to:
Increase or decrease audio.
Mute the audio if needed.
Microphone and Speakers
Microphone and speakers are integrated into the ceiling.
During a Teams call:
Mute the microphone to prevent unwanted noise.
Using as a Teams Room
Schedule the Room
Open Calendar:
Use your Microsoft Outlook or Teams calendar to schedule a meeting.
Invite Room:
When creating the meeting event, go to
Add a location
and select
Plaster 201
from the directory.
Set Date & Time:
Choose the appropriate date and time for the meeting.
Invite Attendees:
Add participants by entering their email addresses. Don’t forget to invite
TBC Operations
if required.
Teams Meeting-Enabled:
Ensure that the option for
Teams Meeting
is toggled on.
Send Invitation:
Send the meeting invite to confirm the room booking and notify attendees.
Host a Meeting
Set Up the Room:
On the iPad in Plaster 201, tap the desired displays and select
Yealink
as the source.
Start the Meeting:
The Yealink controller (Teams console) on the table and the hanging displays will show your scheduled meeting.
If the meeting was scheduled as a Teams meeting, tap
Join
on the Yealink controller to start the call.
If no meeting appears or the room wasn't invited, tap
Join with a meeting ID
and enter the ID from your calendar invite.
