Join a Teams Meeting

Open the Invitation

Locate the meeting invite in your email or calendar and click Join the Meeting Now.

Join via Teams App

  1. If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your desktop or mobile device, click the Join button in the email invitation or on your Teams calendar.
  2. The app will open and prompt you to choose audio and video settings.
  3. Once ready, click Join Now to enter the meeting.

Join via Web Browser

  1. If you don’t have the Teams app installed, click Join the meeting now in the email invite.
  2. The link opens a page in your browser. Select Join from the web instead.
  3. Choose your audio and video preferences and click Join Now.

Join from a Mobile Phone

Open Meeting Invite: Open the email or calendar invite on your mobile device.

Join via Teams App: If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your smartphone:

  1. Open the app and find the scheduled meeting.
  2. Tap to join and follow the prompts to enable audio and video.

Join via Dial-In:

  1. The invite should include a phone number and conference ID.
  2. Call the number and enter the conference ID when prompted to join the meeting by phone.
  • Tips for Mobile Users: Mute your microphone when not speaking to avoid background noise. If your connection is unstable, turn off video to preserve bandwidth.
