Note: This article applies to all Plaster classrooms except 201.
- On the wall, there is an input controller for the display. The controls, starting with Power Off and going clockwise, are as follows:
- Power off
- Volume up
- Hide projector display (does not power the system off)
- Volume down
- AirServer (for wireless connection)
- White Board
- HDMI
- (NOTE: press the buttons next to the display, not the display itself)
- Power on: select an input (HDMI, White Board, or AirServer).
- Power off: select the OFF button.
To project with optional PC Interactivity (touch capabilities),
- Power the system on via the HDMI button on the projection controller.
- Connect your PC or Mac via HDMI and USB.
- Make sure that the PC Interactivity toggle is ON on the projector display:
To project wirelessly,
- Power the system on via the AirServer button on the projection controller.
- On PC,
- Press the Windows key and K at the same time.
- Select the classroom name (i.e. Plaster 138) to project.
- On Mac,
- Open Control Center from the menu bar and select Screen Mirroring:
- Select the classroom name (i.e. Plaster 138) to project.
To use the Digital White Board,
- Power the system on via the White Board button on the projection controller.
- Use your finger or the stylus to write or draw.
NOTES:
- Do not use a dry-erase marker on the projection screen (middle board).
- Room lights turn on with motion. There is a switch next to the door that you can control brightness.
- Window blind controls are next to the windows. The top and bottom buttons raise and lower the blinds completely. The middle buttons let you control how high the blinds stop.
