Neves 172 and 174 Technology Overview

All classrooms at NGU are equipped with both HDMI and AirServer wireless connection options.

Connect with HDMI (Wired)

  1. Power on the main display by tapping the 10" Crestron display on the presentation podium.
  2. Set the input source to Laptop.
  3. Connect your computer to the podium using an HDMI cable.
  4. Adjust display settings:
    • Windows: Go to Settings > System > Display
    • Mac: Go to System Settings > Displays
    • Choose Mirror or Extend as needed.
  5. Control volume with the Crestron display.

Connect with AirServer (Wireless)

  • All classrooms are equipped with AirServer – a cross-platform, wireless presentation tool.
  1. Power on the main display by tapping the 10" Crestron display on the presentation podium.
  2. Set the input source to Wireless.

Windows

  • Press Windows Key + K
  • Select the room (e.g., Neves 172) from the Cast pop-up

NGU-Issued Mac

  • Click the Control Center icon in the top-right menu bar
  • Select Screen Mirroring
  • Choose the room (e.g., Neves 172)

Personal Mac

  • Connect to the Guest WiFi listed on the AirServer screen (WiFi name & password are shown under Guest Network).
  • Open Control Center
  • Click Screen Mirroring and select the room (e.g., Neves 172)
