Powering On the System

To power on the system, simply touch the 10" screen on the presentation podium.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Using Classroom Technology

Default Interface

The default screen will display the Teams Room interface.

Changing Display Input

  • Tap Share.
  • Select Room Controls to change the display input.

Projecting Your Display

To share the built-in computer or your own device,

  • Tap the corresponding source option (House PC, Laptop (with HDMI), or Wireless Pres. (with AirServer)).
  • Select your desired display or audio output (Main Display, Projector, etc.)

To use the House PC, simply log in with your NGU credentials.

To use your own laptop with HDMI,

  1. Connect to the HDMI port on the podium with your computer and an HDMI cable.
  2. Set desired display settings (mirrored or extended) in Settings > Displays (Windows) or System Settings > Displays (Mac).

To use your own laptop and connect wirelessly,

  1. If your computer is a Windows PC,
    1. Press the Windows key  and K at the same time.
    2. Select the room in the Cast pop-up (e.g., Neves 173)
  2. If your computer is an NGU-issued Mac,
    1. Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar (top right corner).
    2. Click Screen Mirroring and select the room (e.g., Neves 173).
  3. If your computer is a personal Mac, 
    1. Connect to the Guest WiFi shown on the AirServer (the WiFi name and password is under the Guest Network section on the AirServer).
    2. Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar (top right corner).
    3. Click Screen Mirroring and select the room (e.g., Neves 173).

Controlling Displays

In the room controls, manage which displays are on by tapping Displays.

Controlling Audio

In the room controls, change audio volume with the controls on the right side of the display.
