North Greenville University now offers TV content delivery through the SpectrumU streaming service for all current NGU resident and commuter students. The traditional coax cable TV connections are no longer available in the residence halls.
Requirements for Streaming: To access TV networks and use multiple streaming devices, ensure your devices are connected to the NGU network either via a wired Ethernet port or TrailblazerConnect Wi-Fi (password: trailblazer).
How to Access SpectrumU:
- On a Computer: Open a web browser and navigate to https://watch.spectrumutv.com.
- On Mobile Devices (Phones/Tablets), Roku, Apple TV, or Smart TV: Download and install the SpectrumU app from your device’s App Store.
Authentication Process: To use the SpectrumU service, users must authenticate to verify their association with NGU.
- On the SpectrumU login screen, enter ngu.edu in the "School Domain" field and click "Submit."
- Log in to the NGU SSO Portal using your NGU Network ID and password.
- For Smart TVs and media player devices, a code will be displayed on the screen. Use this code to link the device to your account via a computer or mobile device.

Yes! NGU students can use SpectrumU on multiple devices simultaneously when connected to the campus network (wired or wireless). Off-campus access is limited to one device at a time.

Yes! With the cloud DVR service, you can record up to 20 shows and access them for up to 30 days.
