How to forward calls from your desk phone to an extension or an external phone number

Environment: Avaya desk phones

Solution

Forward calls

1. Dial #72, followed by 9 and then either:
   1. For an NGU extension, dial the four-digit extension
   2. For an external number, dial 1 and the full 10-digit number
2. Once you have dialed the number, the phone will buzz three times to confirm. Calls to your desk phone will now forward.

Stop forwarding calls

Dial #73 on your desk phone. It will buzz three times to confirm, and calls to your desk phone will no longer forward.
