How to Send eFax

  1. Create a new email in Outlook from your NGU email address.
  2. In the To field, type the 11-digit fax number, followed by @efaxds.com (i.e., 18641234567@efaxds.com).
  3. Fill out the Subject and Body fields of the email. If either of these are left blank, the eFax will not send.
  4. Attach the file you would like to fax. If there is no attachment, the eFax will not send.
  5. Click Send. If successful, you will receive a confirmation email.

How to Receive eFax

When giving your department's eFax number to receive fax, remember to give the full 11-digit number beginning with 1864

  1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and go to trailblazermail.ngu.edu.
  2. Log in with your department's eFax email, username, and password. The email convention is DepartmentName.fax@ngu.edu and the username is DepartmentName).
  3. Inbound faxes will be delivered to this mailbox within 10 minutes of sending. They will appear as an email from message@inbound.efax.com with an attachment that is the faxed document with a cover sheet.
